Shopping Parisdise

I'm back from a lovely break. Venus and I went off to Paris for 3 nights. We filled them with a lot of walking, relaxing, and shopping.

Here's a map of what we walked during those 3 days:

Blue is day 1: more than 6.5 kilometers. We walked this in the evening after having arrived at the hotel. A little bit around Le Marais, and then to the Louvre and back again.
Green is day 2: We walked from Le Marais to the Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower, on to the Champs-Elysées, to finally finish at a nice restaurant and take the metro back because we had walked over 11 kilometers now, excluding the few extra kilometers we had also walked inside shops!
Red is day 3: First we did some shopping around the hotel, and then took the metro to the Champs-Elysées again. There we visited the site of the Arc de Triomphe and then went on shopping. First there, and then we walked on to La Fayette and the Opera. Many kilometers of walking inside the shops, on top of the 5 we had already walked outside. By now my feet were almost dead because of the lack of shoes made for this purpose!

Here's a shot of the Notre Dame:

And the famous shopping mall La Fayette:

They were some quality days, that will surely need some proper follow-up! Check out my flickr page for a few additional pictures (now and in the upcoming days).
