2008 := 2009

It's the end of the year again!
2008 Becomes 2009.
And what a year it will be.
Let's find out.

But before we do that, do we look back in anger or... how do we look back?

To me this year was quite a multicultural one actually. I've come to know many things that I didn't before, and I've learned heaps from people from all over the world. I've started to be more and more interested in the other parts of this world. Maybe this is all initiated by my work in India at the start of the year. That sure didn't hurt. Maybe it's because of the little piece of Morocco that walked into my life. Maybe it's the multiculti bunch of people I meet in London. Maybe it's the people from Russia I've been chatting online with quite a bit. Maybe it's just everything. And life and the universe... not to forget those.

Music is always so nice and so different everywhere. Let's show a few things to let you understand a few different things I really started to like.
Here's a great tune from Russian band Фабрикa (Fabrika): Девушки Фабричные (Devushki Fabrichniye)

Too bad they only released just one album, years ago. But I noticed they had a concert in London last year, so who knows... But there's so many more superb Russian bands out there. I love it. (And the fact that they're always with outrageously pretty girls is purely coincidental!! I know you people and your accusations....)

Traveling to another part of the world, India, here's a clip from the movie Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham, called Say Shava Shava:

I've come to know Bollywood, and Hindi music and dancing. The traditional, floral, colourful, displays and sounds are amazing. And again, the fact that all the Indian girls in all those clips and movies (and in India itself by the way) are outrageously pretty is purely coincidental! Gods... you never stop, do you?

Ok, here's another clip from the same movie. This one's Yeh Ladka Hai Allah:

I like corny. :-))

All that's left to say now: The upcoming year is going to be great! Happy New Year! Hell has broken loose outside here already, and it's still 4 hours till midnight...
