I'm a little bit drunk while I write this, so don't be too worried when you spot some typos. It's not on purpose, it's just the way it's supposed to be. In the spirit (pun!) of drunkenness!!!

Yesterday night (Sunday onto Monday) a good friend of mine arrived in Bangalore: Arjan! We first met when working together on a project in The Hague. His company is now doing projects here as well. So we obviously decided to meet and go out. So, a little bit after 6 o'clock I told my driver to take me to my hotel to drop some things off, and then take me to 'The Beach' bar in Bangalore city centre.
A good choice!

The cocktails were very good, but at some moment we had to leave. While moving out I took a picture of the bar:

As with everybody in India, they all wave when you leave. If they see you've noticed them atleast. And since my camera was pointing at the group in the middle, they all started waving at me :-) But I left anyway.
We took a short while through the city to a Chinese restaurant. Here are Arjan and his colleague waiting for me to finish my picture. On the left you can see a palm tree. Something I'd never seen in real life before! Only in pictures.

Before we entered the restaurant we wanted to get some cash first. Just in case. I withdrew Rs. 1500.--. Which is about 28 Euro's. An Indian person can live for a week on that, if not more.
The cash machine showed the following display:

Do you want fast cash, or just get cash!? Well??? What do you want!??? MAKE YOUR CHOICE NOW!!! Strrrrange question. So I just pressed 'fast cash'. And it worked perfectly fine. Next time I'll try 'get cash'. :-)

The Chinese restaurant was very good. I had some more cocktails, and a lot of food. Here are me and Arjan and the Italian colleague posing for the camera:
